Linck is committed to meaningful youth engagement. This includes sharing power and decision making with young people about matters that impact and are important to them.

We are here to help youth, support their well-being and ensure connections to family, kin, friends and community. We centre services and planning around a youth’s voice, identity, culture, and heritage.

CK Youth Social

CK Youth Social is a thriving youth group offered in a safe, welcoming space.

The CK Youth Social is a drop-in space that supports youth with social skills, recreation and learning life skills. It was developed by the Youth Engagement Team at Linck in response to feedback from youth and parents in the community.

CK Youth Social is supported, in part, by an Ontario Trillium Foundation Grant, provided by the Government of Ontario.

Drop-in is open Monday – Thursday 2:45 – 6:00pm at the Linck cafeteria (during the school year, Mondays are in Wallaceburg).

Youth Advisory Council

The CK Youth Advisory Council (YAC) brings together young people to give them an opportunity to provide meaningful input into the decision-making process of organizations who serve youth. It gives young people the opportunity to express their views and have their voices heard on topics that are important to them.

If you are a young person between the ages of 12 – 25 and want to get involved, email yfec@linck.org or info@accessopenmindsck.ca.

Youth Wellness Hubs

Youth Wellness Hubs Ontario (YWHO) aims to bring the right services to youth (and their families) at the right time and place. The Youth Wellness Hub in Chatham was formerly known as Access Open Minds. The hub brings together community partners who are committed to working in a new collaborative and innovative way, offering a “one-stop shop” for young people aged 12 – 25 looking for mental health and substance use support.
